Loved that the tavern/bistro was next door & could be easily accessed via an exclusive entry way just for hotel patrons. Was so easy to book in for the free airport shuttle & we all loved this hotel that much, we ended up cancelling our hotel reservation (at a different establishment) for our return trip & rebooked here! This place is homely, less fuss, the staff are lovely, they have coin operated laundry facilities, a massive pool, good sized family rooms (ours had 1x double bed & 2x single beds plus kitchenette), is in a great location for those getting ready to travel or returning from travelling, petrol station just up the road for any extra treats you may need, could smoke out on the balcony of our room & there's loads of parking for those driving.

Very close to airport, they provide an airport shuttle every 30 mins, 24 hours of the day and it only takes 5 mins to get to the airport. Our room was quiet, at the back of property on the 2nd floor. We did hear some guests come in about 1 am but no different to any other hotel There is a lift. The room was adequate, bed was comfortable, bathroom was good. It is not 5 stars but was a lot cheaper than staying at the other 2 motels near airport, or staying in the city and paying an expensive taxi fare. We didn’t do breakfast as we had an early flight and left hotel at 4.30 am. There is a pub next door for meals if you need it. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and polite.

The room was neat and tidy and clean - had all that we required for an overnight stay after a late arrival into Darwin. They even allowed us to come at the end of the weekend (a couple of days after check out) to have a swim and shower before our return flight early in the morning - this is a service that we have never experienced anywhere else in the world and we were most appreciative.

The hotel and room had all the basic necessities and was nice and clean. Their free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport is convenient. Most importantly for me, it was a 20-minute walking distance from Marrara. There's also a tavern and a servo next door which came in handy. I didn't use the pool, but I sat poolside and the whole area looked nice and well maintained. It's not a 5-star hotel as Booking.com lists it, but it's a decent 4-star facility.

We arrived early evening and walked next door to the Airport Tavern for a great meal at the bistro. Breakfast is available for an extra cost, with room service delivery at a time of your choosing. The hotel provides a basic, clean room with hot shower and comfortable bed, suitable for an overnight stay in transit.
